Delivering under a Design & Build formula

The Project

We acted as Project and Cost Managers for our client Derivco on two office refurbishment projects in Malaga and in Barcelona. The activity involved the complete renovation of two 1000 sq m spaces. In the Barcelona site the key was to ensure the Contractor delivered both the design and construction services efficiently in coordination with the Client Team. The scale of the work involved was relatively tight and - working through the extreme temperatures over summer, particularly in Malaga when many companies and suppliers in the region are closed as a result – was an additional factor we had to adapt to in order to meet the deadlines.
